Somedays..

Some days I wish I could walk down the hall and see you laying on your bed texting, or watching a movie.
Some days I wish I could have a late night chat with you.
Some days I wish I could hear you tell me how cool you really are and how you know I wish I was as cool as you.
Some days I wish I could come into your room and help you in those stressful situations when you are trying to decide what pants go best with the shirt you are wearing.
Some days I wish I could make you laugh with my stupid comments and dumb jokes.
Some days I wish I could go on a twin date with you to get cafe rio, or zupas, or maybe even make a stop at the Nike store.
Some days I wish I could be extremely irritated by your short responses to my super deep questions.
Some days I wish you would ask me for advice on what to do about the girls in your life.
Some days I wish I could hear your pathetic jokes that make me laugh when I am trying my hardest not to.
Some days I wish I could come home to you taking a nap on the couch.
Some days I wish I could watch you play with and tease the little kids.
Some days I wish I could get up in sacrament meeting to bare my testimony and have you follow right behind me.
Some days I wish I could just have a super long chat with you about life.
Some days... 
and today is one of those days.
I miss you!

The reason.

The reason I haven't been blogging is because I have been to busy.
Its because I am too lazy.
Its because there's way too much to talk about.
Its because I am not a great writer.
Its because I hate how my blog looks. ugliest thing ever. (promise that will be changing shortly.)
Its because how in the freaking heck do I ever catch up?!?!?
Excuses.
Lame excuses.
So, here it goes!

Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam

After deciding I wasn't moving away to school this last school year, I figured I would try out my singles ward and see how I like it.
Let's just say... I was not a very big fan and decided my home ward would be the best for now.
When I told my Bishop he asked if I would accept the calling as a 3 and 4 year old Primay teacher.
Gladly :)
I love it! Every little thing about it.
Little kids are my favorite. Ever.
I have learned more from this calling than I have in my ENTIRE life!
They are so smart in their own simple little ways, they are hilarious, and completely ADORABLE!
Today our lesson was on Adam and Eve and being thankful for the earth.
We had so much fun with the lesson!
I focused a lot on fuit and the forbidden fruit.
I took oranges, bananas, carrots, and apple juice for us to eat and then a pineapple as the forbidden fruit. I pulled it out and they all wanted to eat it until I told them it was the forbidden friut and they were so scared of it :) haha cute little ones!
They did so well with understanding the lesson!
They teach me far more than I could ever teach them and have the strongest testimonies.
The closest little things to heaven :)

I love them all and am so grateful to be able to teach them!

Okay. So I realize that I am supposed to be catching up but I just HAVE to make a few short posts to go along with my fabulous day today. Loved every second of it.
It started out with waking up at my sisters from a little whisper in my ear... "Hey Carni, I love you :)"
I slept in little Linc's bed with him last night at it seriously was the best.
Sweetest little boy EVER.
We got up, played a little, went to the mall, visited G & G B., and then I got the awesome priviledge to take the two little dudes on a date to Arctic Cirlce.
My Mom and Dad and my sister Brooke decided to make a little surprise visit to Logan to see my cute sister Lauren for her birthday (we'll get there). I wanted to go but sadly, I had to work. BUT... I did get lucky enough to hang with these dudes for a while.
I love them.

So like I mentioned, today was my cute cute sisters birthday.

I freaking love her.

This girl is probably one of the most amazing people out there!

Sweetest, nicest, most caring, most forgiving, most thoughtful and loving person you will ever meet!

And to add to it, she is so adorable!

 

I couldn't ask for a better example to look up to in my life!

She has such a strong testimony of the gospel and has the most positive outlook on life!

She seriously is the best and I am so grateful that she is my sister!

I started a new job a week ago (I will write about it later) but I had to go to trainging tonight and it was super long!

I made friends with the cutest freaking girl ever so after work I was in the mood for something fun!

I call up a few of my awesome friends and we decided to go get some dessert at the chocolate!

Love that place.

Long story short, I have the best friends ever!

Girls day!

A few weeks ago, all of the guys (and boys) in my family took a trip to the sand dunes.

My brother and his wife Kelly live in Centerville so she decided that since he was going to be gone all day with her two oldest boys she would come spend the day with us and bring her two youngest along!

I don't get to see them as much as I would like to, so when I do we have a lot of fun!

We went to Zupas for lunch (mmmm) and then went to Ikea!

It was quite the eventful day!

A night out with the friends

I am so far behind. Pathetic. I know.
But my plan is to catch up because I have SO much I want to write about.
Starting with the friends.
A few weeks ago Landon, Kyle, Cristian, Marissa, Bryce, Preston, and I went bowling!
I. Love. Bowling.
It is definitely one of my favorite things to do (even though I am absolutely HORRIBLE.)
And did I mention that I have the BEST friends EVER?!
Love them.
