Dear Elder

Twin.
You have completed over 1/3 of your mission.
8 1/2 months down, 15 1/2 to go.
Freaking crazy.
I couldn't be more proud of you!
Things you have taught me over the past 8 months:
1. You write the best emails ever. LONG and DETAILED emails. Never knew you had it in you ;)
2. You are one of the most optimistic people I have ever met. There is nothing that gets you down. I love it.
3. You are inspired. In so many ways. You have helped me in ways you will never understand.
4. You have such a love for the gospel, family, friends, and just people in general.
5. You are still "you". Freaking funny, and the same old Corb.
6. You are such a stud.
7. You are definitely still my best friend. I look up to you in every way possible.

Thanks for everything you have taught me!
I love you!!

Officially Elder Paynter

Today I said goodbye to my best friend ever.
He is leaving to Brazil tomorrow morning to serve the Lord and the people in Brazil for the next two years.
Its rough, but so happy.
I couldn't be more proud of the boy.
I wouldn't choose for him to be anywhere else doing anything else.
I read a talk today about a lady who described it as "being sad but feeling so happy."
Thats EXACTLY how I feel.
I am sad because I have counted on this boy for the last five years of my life.
He has been the center of everything and it will definitely be an adjustment.
No more late night phone calls. No more waking up to his cute voice. No more vent sessions. No more late night drives and perfect dates.

But thats all okay.
He is doing exactly what he is supposed to be doing and thats what makes it all so happy.
So many perfect memories to hold on to, letters to send and receive, life changing stories to be told, and countless blessings to be felt.
I am so proud of you, best friend.
I can't wait to hear all about it for the next two years.
You are my favorite person in the whole world.
Thanks for everything you have done for me and taught me.
I love you more than words can describe!
Now go serve those lucky people!

The wonderful land of DISNEY!!!

My sister and her husband took their little boys to Disneyland but wanted to make it a complete surprise.
All the boys ever talked about was how bad they wanted to go to Disneyland so on Memorial Day, they woke the kids up early in the morning and I got to be their chauffer to the airport!
So fun to see the boys excitment!

Little did they know, my mom, my dad, Lauren, and I were going the next day to surprise them at Disneyland!

That little boy in the blue shirt has NO idea :)

Breakfast with the characters

Go Yankees!!

The big 19!

Prest turned 19 on May 15th!
You know what that means... Mission!!
We celebrated his birthday by going to breakfast, and partying with his fam!

Birthday boy!

Game face

I modeled his clothes for him :)

He turned his papers in and we all made our guesses! I guesses Brazil if he went out and I think... Michigan if he stayed in. 2 weeks after that, my family took off to California, and of course... he got his mission call the day after we got there! I was super bummed that wasn't able to be there when he opened it but I got a cute video and... MY GUESS WAS RIGHT!!! He got called to the Campinas, Brazil mission. He leaves Oct. 30 to go to the Brazil MTC! Because I couldn't be a part of it, our last night at Disneyland we decided to do a little something for him..

I made all of the pictures black and white (because it was our last night and we all look SO beautiful..) and put them in a long picture frame for him :)
Happy Mission!!

Elder Sharp

Oh how I miss this boy.
He left on his mission to serve those people in Bangkok, Thailand on March 7th.

And he is one FABULOUS missionary :)

7 months down... 17 to go!!!
